Terms & Conditions

WorldPicks2026 is a prediction game offered strictly for entertainment. No cash prizes, payouts, virtual currency redeemable for cash, merchandise, or items of monetary value are awarded based on the outcome of any prediction, match, or standings. WorldPicks2026 is not a sportsbook, gambling service, lottery, sweepstakes, fantasy contest with prizes, or game of chance. The fees described in Section 3 pay solely for access to the software service and bear no relationship to the outcome of any match or prediction.

You expressly acknowledge that no consideration paid to us is wagered, and no payment from us or any other participant is contingent on any outcome.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian agree to these Terms on their behalf.
• You confirm that participating in a free-to-play prediction game is lawful where you live. You are solely responsible for compliance with local law.
• We may restrict or block access from jurisdictions where the Service or the acceptance of setup fees may be regulated as gambling, including but not limited to certain US states and territories. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
• One account per person. Multi-accounting is grounds for termination.

• Standard league: $4.99 one-time setup fee plus $0.99 per seat, capped at 25 seats.
• Large league: $9.99 one-time setup fee plus $0.99 per seat, capped at 100 seats.
• The league commissioner pays the setup fee and per-seat charges at the time of league creation. Members invited to the league join free of charge.
• All amounts are charged in US dollars and processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• What you are paying for: access to software services — league hosting, scoring engine, leaderboard, live data sync, and member seats. Fees are not prize pools, not held in trust, and are not redeemable for any prize.
• Refunds: setup fees are refundable in full before the first match of the tournament has kicked off in your league. Once any match has started, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Per-seat charges for unused seats are non-refundable once the league is activated.
• Chargebacks: initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in suspension of all leagues you commission.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at the address in Section 16 if you suspect unauthorized access. Choose a username and avatar that comply with our content standards (Section 6). We may require email verification before payment or league creation.

• Commissioners may set scoring rules from approved presets, invite and remove members, purchase additional seats up to the tier cap, and lock the league once full. Commissioners act as administrators, not as our agents.
• Commissioners may not collect side payments, entry fees, buy-ins, prize contributions, or any outcome-contingent rewards from members in exchange for participation. Doing so violates these Terms, may convert a private social activity into illegal gambling in your jurisdiction, and is grounds for immediate termination of the league without refund.
• Picks must be submitted before the official kickoff time of each match. Late picks are not accepted. Scoring is final once a match is marked “final” by our data feed and the post-match recalculation has run.
• Tiebreakers, postponements, and abandoned matches follow the rules published in your league’s scoring config at the time the match begins.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for harassment, hate speech, threats, impersonation, doxxing, or sexually explicit content, including in usernames, league names, or avatars.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, automate picks, scrape data, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with other users’ enjoyment.
• Use the Service to facilitate gambling, betting pools, fixed-odds wagering, or any other regulated financial activity.
• Attempt to circumvent seat caps, payment requirements, or geographic blocks.
• Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate leagues that violate these rules, with no refund.

Match schedules, scores, and status are sourced from third-party feeds (currently ESPN). WorldPicks2026 is not affiliated with FIFA, ESPN, any national federation, broadcaster, or sponsor of the tournament. All team and tournament names are used nominally to identify the underlying matches. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect; we make no warranty as to its accuracy and accept no liability for scoring decisions made based on third-party feeds. Where a data source publishes a correction, we may recalculate picks and standings accordingly.

We collect the information you give us (email, display name, country, avatar) and information generated by your use of the Service (picks, points, league membership, payment status, device and log data). We use it to operate the Service, provide customer support, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information. Payment data is handled by Stripe under their terms. You may request export or deletion of your account by emailing the address in Section 16; some records (e.g. payment history) may be retained as required by law.

All software, designs, layouts, copy, and trademarks of WorldPicks2026 are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without our written permission. You retain ownership of your display name and any content you post, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, close leagues, or refuse payment if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation would expose us to legal or financial risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payment, IP, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution) will survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of scoring, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the Service will be free of bugs, that data will be accurate, or that any specific feature will remain available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorldPicks2026, its operators, and its contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WorldPicks2026 and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your violation of law, or any side-payment or prize arrangement you organize with other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree first to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, the dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider, seated in Wilmington, Delaware, conducted in English. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the updated Terms, stop using the Service and request a refund of any unused setup fee under Section 3.

• Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability: if any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
